About

Morwenna is a Scottish based artist who's work revolves around the themes of light and colour, psychedelia and patterns in nature. Her recent work explores how patterns in nature share resonance with the mind.

"I enjoy creating colourful and atmospheric artworks, primarily in the form of paintings and sculptures. Recently, I've also experimented with a more mixed media approach, combining a range of mediums from animation and projection to ceramics."

"My work ranges from the functional, to the purely aesthetic; it really depends on the particular project, context of the work and the viewer."

"I'm inspired by lots of things, but my artworks tend to centre around nature and psychedelia. Bright colours and organic forms, spirituality, mysticism and self-organisation. The harmony, complexity and interconected of the natural world is truly fascinating and beautiful, it's something I never get bored of exploring in my work."
